The 2019 election

2019 presidential election · 23 Feb 2019

How Nigeria voted for President in 2019.

The results as INEC declared them on 27 Feb 2019, for all 73 candidates, with turnout and a state-by-state breakdown.

Where these figures come from: national totals are INEC's own declaration (official). The state-by-state figures come from Stears Elections 2019 dataset (state-level presidential results), a secondary source, because INEC's published report has no state table; their rows add up exactly to INEC's national totals.

INEC declared Buhari Muhammadu (APC) elected, with 15,191,847 of 27,324,583 valid votes (55.6%).
